".... Excellent crossword puzzle! Fun to do..but more importantly, the clues were concise and easy to understand. A mark of A++, I give to the creator...(whoever it is???) I see no indication of who designed it! Please tell me how to find the name, so I can seek more of his/her puzzles. :-) .. ..."

"...pretty easy, but how is "the" a noun?? clever use of very long words, such as "hide and go seek" and "constellation" as well as "hallucinogens". but why is the creator so afraid of using long clues? or at least ones more than one word? such as the clue "frighten" for 1 down - panic. frighten is not a synonym of panic!!??!! but overall, an ok one, just a couple spots need fixing...."

"...Very enjoyable puzzle. No mistakes as are unfortunately common in US-made puzzles. The-as-a-noun has obviously been corrected. Good clues...."

commented prisca22 on 05 June 2008 at 08:24 AM GMT

"...Much better quality than most in the Cave. Good use of long words without a lot of no-cross letters. Apparently, the 17A clue has been corrected, since "the" is an article, not a noun. A better clue/synonym for 1D would simply be "Fright." "Frighten" is a transitive verb; "panic" is intransitive - or "panic" is a noun, as is "fright." Also, minor typo on 11A: should be "Niece's." Done well! ..."
