"...clues are not clear..."

"...'Aloft' and 'omens' don't appear mean what the author thinks they do, and other clues were worded inappropriately for the form that was in the grid, i.e. evasion ('avoidance or the steering clear of' would have been more appropriate), but most of the clues were good, and overall it worked. Maybe recourse to a dictionary would help next time :)..."

"...lots of good words and clues, attractive design! wrong tense/context 1, 5, 12 across......fave clue 16 across(consise,helpful).......least fave 32 across, 18 and 25 down (redundant, weird).......i didn't see the word/clue connection on 22 across at all and 23 down was totally off in both parts of the clue - leave out the karma stuff, "sign" instead of "blessings" would be more helpful and accurate. overall good puzzle - thanks : )..."

"...couldn't find the word coarse (mentioned by other posters) anywhere in the clues/answers - maybe a reference to 27 down? ironic that those touting the importance of taking time to "spellcheck" could not be bothered with "show errors" before commenting on this puzzle...."

"...it wouldve have been better if you would watch your tenses...and check the definitions of some of the clues...they didn't match very well......"

commented alk3cassh on 16 June 2007 at 03:07 AM GMT

"..."Lofty" is not the same as "aloft" (22 across), and "blessings" seems a strange clue for a portent (omen, 23 down). Numerous misspellings in the clues...."

"...Very poor clue creation. 4D should be at back of not 'in' 33A should read (on the tongue)..."

commented Barrie on 28 March 2013 at 07:56 PM GMT

"...I agree with above comments. Many tense errors, as well as erroneous definitions. If you like making crosswords, you have to seriously check the dictionary to make coherent clues...."
