"...Chile is the South American country. The food is most often spelled as here, chili, but there is a variant with an e at the end. Easy, fun puzzle. Good work...."

"...Quick and easy. Three comments: 9 a could be the colloquialism "dings" (you wouldn't know because the 2nd and 4th letters are independent), 16 a, ibid (I had "crank"), and 19 a should be Saturday as Sunday is the first day of the week (maybe change the clue "end of the work week"). ..."
